Hybrid Festival by Pilar

We live in a time where it is difficult, and it is becoming increasingly harder to draw a clear boundary between fantasy and reality, between fiction and fact. Echo’s from past and present tickle our imagination, change our perception, but misform facts as well. Because with every memory we also surrender ourselves to our imagination. During Pilar ASAP - the Echo Edition, we put a spotlight on the wonder that arises from the resounds of these reflections, but also the narrowing that these echoes can cause in our view of the world. The fourth edition of Pilar ASAP is a hybrid festival, covering the many facets of Echo, both off- and online. Including the exhibition ‘This Too Shall Pass', a keynote by Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer, masterclasses on the art of debating, and an immersive virtual reality concert series that will take you back to the good old days in our Pilar Box.

About Pilar ASAP
PILAR ASAP is a semi-annual, multidisciplinary festival with a narrative programme. Attuned to the pulse of society, we merge different artistic and scientific disciplines. At PILAR ASAP you can experience a challenging, varied offer: from exhibition, debate and workshops to concert evenings. Central to it is the work of (young) artists that we think you should discover as soon as possible. For a month they will be part of our Art Science Association Platform. (ASAP)
