Spirited Away is a 2001 Japanese animated fantasy film by Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. It tells the story of Chihiro, a ten-year-old girl who stumbles into a mystical world of spirits after her parents are transformed into pigs.

The film, created by Miyazaki for Studio Ghibili, is knwon for its stunning animation and universal themes, winning an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
