19:30 / Roxane Métayer & Katya Shirshkova
Roxane Métayer is a visual artist and musician based in Brussels. Her work takes the form of a series of tributes to the forest, exploring the relationship between humans and the living world through various media such as sound, image, and sculpture. She composes music that blends field recordings, acoustic instruments, and voice, creating a universe closely related to animal and vegetal mimicry.
She has recently been working on polyphonic and spatialized sound installations, with projects presented in sound art venues such as Overtoon and STUK. Roxane Métayer has collaborated with other artists, most recently with drummer Charles Dubois, and has led music creation workshops for young audiences. Her albums have been released on labels including Blickwinkel, Kraak, Matière Mémoire, Morc, and Vlek, and she has performed in venues such as Ancienne Belgique and Café Oto.
Katya Shirshkova is a France-based performance artist, vocalist, composer, and lecturer. Her practice is situated at the crossroads of experimental music, academic avant-garde, and sound art. Working primarily with voice and choirs, she employs interdisciplinary methods that engage performance, composition, and sound installation. Her musical work combines extended vocal techniques, сhoral vocal practices and electroacoustic approach to sound.
Katya collaborates with other artists and musicians, including Louis Laurain, Jérôme Joy and Yurii Kuznetsov.
She has presented her work in collaboration with institutions and venues such as Les Instants Chavirés (Paris), Outhouse Gallery (London), Musée Estève (Bourges), Appleton Gallery (Lisbon), La Gaîté Lyrique (Paris), La Box (Bourges), OSSO Associação Cultural (Portugal), Musikakademie Rheinsberg, Institut Français, Goethe Institut, ENSA Bourges and others.

20:30 / Gibrana Cervantes
Gibrana Cervantes is a London-based Mexican violinist, composer, and improviser known for her bold and experimental approach to music. Drawing from both classical training and a background in metal, she weaves melody and noise into emotionally charged and contemplative sound worlds, using distortion and intensity as core compositional tools.
Beyond her solo practice, Cervantes is the co-founder and curator of 316centro in Mexico City, a platform dedicated to emerging sound art in Latin America. Now based in London, she released her solo album ¿Cómo Pasan la Eternidad?(Mexican Rarities, 2023), followed by Vortex Submarino (Aurora Records, 2024). She is currently working on a new album and continues her collaboration with acclaimed choreographer Florentina Holzinger, composing and performing in the opera SANCTA, with performances scheduled through 2026.
21:30 / Martha Skye Murphy
Martha Skye Murphy is an experimental vocalist whose enigmatic presence is defined by constant vocal transformation, both on record and on stage. Treating her voice as an “abject instrument,” she moves fluidly across genres, defying categorization and inviting deep, attentive listening.
Her distinctive approach has led to a wide range of collaborations. In 2021, her contribution to Squid’s debut album Bright Green Field was praised by Pitchfork as “the album’s most exhilarating stretch of sound” on the single Narrator. Murphy has released music with the New York–based duo LEYA, appeared on Nick Cave’s Push the Sky Away, and maintains an ongoing project with legendary guitarist Roy Montgomery.
On her debut album Um, Murphy plays with contrasts: delicate, baroque-inspired moments alternate with electronic eruptions, and organic and artificial sounds interweave. Lyrically, the album evokes imagery ranging from ancient Roman rituals to playful dance scenes, all infused with a sense of longing and memory. Murphy explains: “I wanted the listener to feel disoriented, erotically charged by the intimacy of a bedroom, and then catapulted into a desert.”
