Blue lipstick, snow white hair and platform shoes that make you dizzy. Please welcome Ruby Grace. She mixes kitsch elements à la Charli XCX with electropop, beats and soul. Her rare and powerful voice is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse. Her unique style makes her one of Belgium's most promising talents. Immediately after its release, her debut single 'Lipgloss' was picked up by Studio Brussel and the song made it to the weekly 'Hi-Five' selection of Bruzz. With her video clip of ‘Lipgloss’, she was also immediately known as someone with a distinct and atypical visual identity. Lipgloss was followed by single ‘Jawbreaker’, good for more than 100,000 streams and 40,000 views and her most recent single "My Gem" is, again, sweet and catchy as hell! Without a doubt: Chibi Ichigo is the phenomenon in Belgian hip-hop of 2020. She delivered already two brilliant EPs (the last one she recently presented in the prison of Leuven) and a full album is coming up. Chibi excels in striking beats, spherical instrumentals and disarming lyrics in Russian, English and Dutch. Emy Kaboré is barely twenty-one but already considered one of the greatest talents out here. Armed with nothing more than her guitar, she took 3rd place in Humo's Rockrally in 2018. Two years later EMY is a full live band and they already have an impressive track record with performances at Boomtown and the showcase festival 5050 Lab. Debut single "Freestyle" went into high rotation on Studio Brussel (incl. "Catch of the Day"), Radio 1 and Bruzz. Dour Festival offered her the Sunday opening spot on the Labo Stage for this year’s edition. The renowned French music magazine COLORS featured "Freestyle" between heroes like Arlo Parks, Jpegmafia and Jessie Ware. It should be clear, Emy is here to stay.
