Hospitality

Pilar is looking for motivated Hospitality students. Do you regularly attend cultural events and are you motivated to give artists a warm welcome? Then you are the VUB job student we are looking for.

TASKS

- You work closely with the production manager of the event.
- You prepare the boxes and the kitchen for an event. You have an eye for detail and always keep the comfort of artists and crew in mind.
- You pick up groceries at Colruyt.
- You cook meals independently based on simple recipes and serve them to artists and crew. Afterwards you were finished.
- You maintain a presence in the backstage during the event and grant access to people with a backstage pass.
- You keep the kitchen in order and do the dishes in between.
- You refill the refrigerators with drinks where necessary.
- You answer questions from artists in a friendly and helpful manner.
- You are responsible for cleaning up the kitchen and the boxes at the end of the event.
- You help where necessary in closing the event.

Stagehand

Pilar is looking for motivated stagehands. Are you hands-on, fascinated by audiovisual techniques and a culture lover? Then you are the VUB job student we are looking for.

TASKS

- You work closely with the audiovisual technician and the production manager of the event.
- You will be involved in the construction and dismantling of the stage.
- You actively support the audiovisual technicians in preparing technical material.
- You help artists unload and load technical equipment and instruments.
- You help carry technical equipment and instruments on and off stage between sound checks and performances.
- You will be standing by the audiovisual technicians during the event.
- You are responsible for cleaning up the room at the end of the event.
- You help where necessary in closing the event.
