KRANKk - BERRY - Roedel
Fri 03 — Thu 02 Apr 2020Three of the most promising acts in Belgian urban scene
KRANKk
KRANKk instantly takes you back to the early years of WARP records (Aphex Twin, Autechre). The Belgian trio consisting of Thomas Geysen (drums), Aram Abgaryan (keys) and Willem Heylen (guitar) creates a very exciting, live version of English Grime & UK Garage. Apocalyptic and dark electrical beats are melted with speedy raps from guests MCs such as Miss Angel and Blu Samu alongside other ferocious wolves from the Belgian urban scene. Their new album "DARK" will be released soon. In it, the trio digs deeper and they collaborate with none other than David Ngyah, Manga Saint Hilaire, Coco and Tsar B. Danceable, stimulating and above all super virtuoso!

BERRY
Brussels' finest and one of the key players in the rap scene. Next to being part of BERRYKRIMI, BERRY is also a member of the Six O'Clock Gang (Phasm, Lord Gasmique). You have undoubtedly heard BERRY already in collab with Zwangere Guy on his track "Brede Jongens". However, BERRY also dropped his own LP "Breed & Boos" definitely worthy of your attention right now. With his deep rap voice, BERRY will certainly not leave you unmoved.
ROEDEL
Gang of young hounds from Antwerp. Roedel shows that the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. With Luie Louis, Mitxelena, Rikky Rozay, Brakka Briesje, and also tusais and Stef in the kennel, they decided to join forces. On debut album "Hondsdolheid", the beats are chill and shady, with roots deep into the nineties. The sequel will follow soon this year... Definitely one to keep your eye on.
