Joachim Liebens’ (27) songs about despair, hope, and the feeling of being a misunderstood misfit – are coated in a rich and dreamy international sound that will sweep you off your feet. Debut single ‘Teen Rebel’ took off immediately, effortlessly sailing the radio waves in Belgium and abroad. The Haunted Youth won Studio Brussel’s talent contest De Nieuwe Lichting, and ‘Teen Rebel’ got a lot of airplay. It even drew attention across the pond, where it made the front page of the well-known and influential American online magazine Consequence of Sound. If 2021 was a dream year for The Haunted Youth, 2022 is destined to be a triumph.

Ohio Mark is a Belgian trio shrouded in a haze of guitars and noise. Risen from the ashes of their previous synth band, The Dead Color, Erik Van Hoecke & Pieter De Cnudde reconnect and start experimenting with drone-like post punk drumming and shoegazy guitars. Benjamin Caes, known from noise band Crowd Of Chairs, quickly joined the band. After launching a handful of singles and features on a couple of mixtapes, the Antwerp/Ghent based combo released the critically acclaimed EP ‘Exotism’ (2019) on record label Sentimental, founded by members of befriended group Whispering Sons. Exotism became a flirtation with different shades of loudness. With a follow-up record on the way in and a pandemic on the way out, Ohio Mark is ready for touring.
