Join us for a unique well-being dinner at Pilar. Participation is free but registration is required.

Well-being tables

Your personal well-being is considered a priority by the VUB. Now more than ever. Therefore, warmly invites you for a cosy and inspirational dinner. Guided by VUB experts, small groups of 5 to 6 students will discuss topics such as art as therapy, sleep, procrastination, psychosocial health and many more. The weKONEKT.tables, a collaboration between and the PILAR ASAP Festival, focus on well-being and art. The evening takes place in the Pilar Box on the VUB campus.
Slam poet, musician and artist Lisette Ma Neza is joining us for an unforgettable journey inspired by your insights, thoughts and feelings.

What to expect?

You will be welcomed in the exhibition space of Pilar by the curator of the expo ‘Hello there, I just wanted to ask how you’re doing’, part of PILAR ASAP Your Current Mood Edition. After a small reception and a brief introduction, we will take a seat at the table for a vegetarian dinner. During the main course, you will be discussing a first topic of conversation of your choosing. The experts join you in a respectful, educational, practical, and positive dialogue. You will be able to meet other students and share experiences. After a short break, you will switch tables and focus on a second topic while enjoying a nice dessert. We end the evening with a slam poetry performance by the artist Lisette Ma Neza. She will gather your insights for her closing performance.

Your voice is key in our policy development #TheWorldNeedsYou

Together, we reflect on the past year and look forward to a joint future. We cover the highs and the lows, but most importantly, we aim to facilitate a hopeful and constructive exchange. Within, we genuinely value the student’s active role in policymaking at VUB. Your voice will be heard.

In the meantime, check our website for more activities during the weKONEKT.week (28/03/2022 – 01/04/2022), discover the full schedule of the ASAP Festival at Pilar and look at the Leave No One Behind page for additional guidance opportunities and initiatives.
