Palettes of Palestine will host an open collage table at Bar Pilar during our Palestine Cafe 🕊️

At this 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, we invite you to engage with the work of Palestinian photographers Fadi Badwan and Mohammed Shurrab. Their images capture the essence of Gaza — its daily life, its sea and people, its beauty, and the stark reality of life under occupation and now, a genocide. By creating with their photographs, you enter into dialogue with their work, amplifying their voices and allowing stories to intertwine.

Collage-making is messy, playful, and 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲. No art experience is needed. Materials will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own.

The goal is to create a space to sit with many emotions in turbulent times — grief, anger, gratitude, confusion, care, or hope — offering a way of expression while also asking ourselves what we do with the safety and resources we have. Each collage becomes a small act of connection with Gaza, keeping its people and stories present in our shared space.
