open call: Host A Messy Sessie

Are you a creative 🐝 and are you looking for a platform to share your creative skills, ideas or obsessions with others? Always wanted to host your first workshop?

We are looking for makers, crafters or enthusiasts who want to share what they love and turn it into a Messy Sessie. Think drawing, sewing, collage making, upcycling, crocheting — or even something completely different!

𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘺 𝘥𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘔𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘺 𝘚𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘦 𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘞𝘦𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘳 𝘗𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘳.   𝘓𝘰𝘸-𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘸, 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘤𝘩, 𝘥𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘭𝘦, 𝘤𝘶𝘵, 𝘨𝘭𝘶𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. 𝘡𝘦𝘳𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦. 𝘉𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦 - 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘯, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦!

As a host, you will guide the participants through your workshop or activity and create a fun and welcoming space to get creative together. 

You don’t have to be skilled or an expert - the outcome doesn’t matter. As long as everyone feels welcome, has fun and gets to be creative, you’re doing it right.

There will always be a team member of Pilar by your side to help set things up.

Messy Sessies are every Wednesday from 18:00 - 20:00 in Bar Pilar, starting from October - July.

Only after receiving your proposal we will discuss the possibilities and the timeframe together.

Hosts should be under 35. 

This open call has no deadline.

For one session of two hours you will receive a volunteer allowance + a free meal (+++ become part of the Pilar community :-)))
