Voices of Compassion: An Evening of Mourning and Healing
About Compassionate university
Serious illness, death, and loss can affect anyone. Including our students and staff. That is why the VUB gives compassion and grief a place in our community. Even more, we signed a declaration of intent to become a 'Compassionate University'. This makes us a pioneer in Europe. Are you going through a difficult period and do you need a listening ear or a pat on the back in addition to our regular and extensive range of healthcare services? Count on us.
Voices of Compassion: An Evening of Mourning and Healing
The Linguistics and Literary Studies (LIST) department invites you to an evening of “Compassionate Voices”. This event is dedicated to mourning and healing through texts, poems, stories, songs, in any language. Members of the VUB community and beyond are welcome to share their work or listen to the performance of others. We believe that coming together through literature can serve as a bridge, connecting people through their shared experiences.
