Enough dicking around. Let’s talk about sex. Sex deserves a more in-depth conversation than it often receives nowadays. When we speak of ‘the act’ we often like to perpatuate the myth that sex is always wild, horny, epic or thrilling. And yes, we proudly share that we are into the latest trends (Poly! Pegging! Tantra-islands!), but little on what role sex plays in our lives or whether that suits us. This could be better. From 02 to 30 March, we pull out all the stops with an exhibition around the re-definition of sexual energy, sensual concerts, a repair diner on the lesser sides of sex, sexual education in the form of a performance, a literary evening on sex & the power of imagination and steamy nightlifes. Founded in 2018, Brikabrak aims to diversify Belgium’s nightlife music-wise, pushing underground percussive-driven club genres from across the world to and open minded audience. Their parties center around creating an expressive dancefloor space where bodily joys, lust and movement dictate the rhythm of the night. As a collective of DJ’s, the musical spectrum they provide takes you on a ride from downtempo Afrobeats and Amapiano to fast paced Batida, UK Bass, Jungle and actually just anything with exciting drum patterns.

Matinée is a young collective from Brussels that found the pause button during covid and is happy to share it with us. For the occasion of PILAR ASAP The Sexual Healing/Feeling Edition, they join forces with the Ghent/Brussels family of Dauwtrip. Together they have put a pleasantly varied line-up, within which there is room to dream away in the large hall with inspiring live acts or to hang out in the bar with carefully chosen records by DJs. Brunch is served here, so you can literally roll out of bed and come. Without a worry, as fit on a Sunday. Free entrance with voluntary contribution. No reservations needed for the brunch. Bring a book, crosswords, blanket, pillow, toy, your best friend, your grandfather, … who/whatever you feel like having with you on a Sunday.
